Flags Across America!
Do you live within the vicinity of the Memorial area in Houston, Texas? You are in luck because Troop 1089 is offering a program called Flags Across America! There are six flag holidays where we will install an American Flag in your front yard for the price of $48 a year!
These are the Flag Holidays:
- President's Day (3rd Monday in February)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Flag Day (June 14th)
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
- Veteran's Day (November 11th)
How does it work?
Prior to your first flag day, your flag representative will carefully install a small PVC pipe flag holder in your yard close to the curb.
**If necessary, the subscriber must advise Troop 1089 of any sprinkler, plumbing, electrical, or other hazards prior to installation.**

If you are in our area, you will be assigned a scout flag representative who will install a flag in your yard.
